Is your passport still green?

If it is then you need to head on to DFA to have your passport changed to the new machine-readable kind. Machine readable passports are valid until the expiry indicated on the passport whereas the green/manually scripted passports are only valid until April 10, 2010! That's less than a month from now! Go to http://www.passport.com.ph (Don't worry it's the DFA website for passport applications and renewals.) to schedule your appointment and know more about the process and document requirements. Setting an appointment is easy. Just go to http://www.passport.com.ph go to the "Set an Appointment" link. Make sure you have the following information ready especially if you're setting an appointment for other people as well.
